Background
Innovation Born from Adversity: In 2020, when the world paused due to the pandemic, our classrooms at Riohs College of Design had to close. Faced with this challenge, we began filming our lessons and sending them to students via WhatsApp. This simple solution turned into a powerful new way of learning, allowing students to learn at their own pace, revisit lessons, and thrive despite the circumstances.
The success of this approach inspired us to create Sewskillz—a mobile app dedicated to those who want to learn but can’t always be present in a classroom. Born out of the resilience and adaptability particularly our 2020 COVID class, to whom this platform is fully dedicated. They showed us that learning doesn’t have to stop in the face of adversity and that with the right tools, education can flourish anywhere, anytime., Sewskillz brings the classroom to you, offering accessible, flexible learning wherever you are.
